DO I HAVE TO INFORM THE LOCAL SHIP AGENT ABOUT THESE SERVICES?

Yes, you will have to instruct them to order the services to Marine Service Mediterranean S.L. and to coordinate with us at all times.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR SERVICES IN ADVANCE?

Yes, you will have to pay the 80 pct of the proforma invoice that you will receive upon ordering the service. The amount of same will be agreed with you, which will be subject to total amount to be supplied and position of delivery (at berth or at anchorage).

HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE SERVICES?

You can choose three possible ways: - A swift bank transfer the 80 pct of the proforma invoice to our bank details that will be advised to you in due time. - Instruct the local Ship Agent to pay the mentioned amount directly to us. - Instruct Master of the vessel to pay the mentioned amount directly to us. After completion of the services, a final invoice (or credit note, if this is the case) will be sent to you which will include the total amount of service, the prepayment received and the outstanding balance to our favour otherwise to your favour, in which case we shall return the amount of this balance upon receipt of your instructions.

WILL THE SERVICE BE DELAYED IF, BY ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, I AM NOT ABLE TO ANTICIPATE THE REQUESTED AMOUNT BEFORE THE SERVICE WILL BE CARRIED OUT?

Service should not be delayed, but we shall have to receive a guarantee that transfer is on the way otherwise that the money will be paid directly to us. Terms of this guarantee should be discussed on spot.

WHAT KIND OF GUARANTEE DO I HAVE THAT SERVICES WILL BE RENDERED IN DUE TIME?

Upon receipt of your order, we are in direct and constant contact with local Ship Agent and/or Master of the vessel and/or installations in order to know vessel’s position at all times, so that we shall be able to agree with Master and/or local Ship Agent for most convenient time and place of delivery.

HOW DO I KNOW THAT THE SERVICES ARE BEING CARRIED OUT IN DUE TIME?

WHAT HAPPEND IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS DURING THE SERVICES?

You are kindly requested to please let us know person in charge and contact details when ordering the services. Contact details for Master of the vessel will be appreciated, as well.

ARE MY STORES INSURED IN CASE OF ANY INCIDENT, MISHANDLING OR LOSS?

Yes, our insurance covers (up to maximum 60.000,00 EUR) all material that we are transporting on our trucks, our barges and/or our boats, whenever we are handling them. In the case that you should need an insurance for a larger amount, please let us know in order to arrange in due time.
